What is the minimum order?

Our coffees are packaged in sleeves, each containing 10 capsules. For packaging reasons, all coffee orders placed online, or with the Nespresso Club, should be composed of a minimum 50 capsules. You can mix the variety of capsules as you choose, as long as the total number is 50 or more (e.g. 20 Roma, 10 Arpeggio, 10 Livanto, 10 Napoli).

What are the different payment methods?

There are two methods of payment:

If a repair is required, we can do the following:

- Provide a loan machine for the duration of the repair.

- Repair of your machine and a check all its components.

What is the shelf life of the Nespresso capsules?

Our capsules are hermetically sealed for optimal conservation of coffee aromas. Two dates are indicated on each sleeve: the production date and the date of consumption. We ensure the freshness consumption up to 12 months after the date of production.

What is the Caffeine Content in the Coffee?

The amount of caffeine in a capsule depends on the varieties of green coffee used in the recipe. The Robusta origin contains an average of 2.4% whereas the Arabica origins contain approx. 1.3% of caffeine. Decaf capsules contain less than 0.1% of caffeine. The classic Nespresso capsules contain approx 5g of ground coffee whereas the Lungo capsules contain approx 6g of ground coffee.

Example: a pure Arabica coffee in a classic Nespresso capsule (5g) containing 5g x 1.3% = 0.065g = 65 milligrams (mg) of caffeine.

Below are examples or average caffeine contents according to the type of coffee preparation (values are based on UK Food Safety Authorities 2001):

  • Cup of filter coffee: 75mg
  • Mug of instant coffee: 100mg
  • Tea cup: 50mg
  • Standard cola drink: up to 40mg
  • Standard energetic drink: 80mg
  • Black chocolate bar: up to 50mg
  • Milk chocolate: 25mg.

Origin of Nespresso coffee?

Our coffees are different types of Arabica and Robusta.

Arabica stalks are tender and demanding plants, which are grown on plantations located on the slopes of mountains, mainly in Central and South America and in East Africa. The delicacy of its aroma increases with the altitude at which it is grown.

Robusta is more resistant to the conditions of a tropical climate and grows in areas that are not suitable for the Arabica plant, in the lowlands where it is hot and humid, mainly in West Africa and Southeast Asia.

Nespresso coffees come from 3 continents, from 15 countries And that:

Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua, Brazil, Guatemala, Peru, Ethiopia, Uganda, Congo, Kenya, Zimbabwe, India, Indonesia, China, Papua New Guinea.

How do I clean my Aeroccino?

Firstly, please place the stirrer inside and fill with fresh water until the first indication of max. Then, switch to warm mode. After the procedure, clean with a soft damp cloth after each use to remove all traces of milk, and prevent it from burning.

Why does my Nespresso machine need descaling?

After a certain period of time, limescale builds up in your appliance. This is a normal natural reaction, depending on the hardness of the water and how often you use the appliance. Scale can block the pipes of the water circuit inside the appliance or damage other parts. Among other things, this will have a negative impact on the temperature of the coffee, the heating time of your device, and the perforation of the capsules. Basically, it will affect the quality of the coffee.

Use the Nespresso descaling kit every 3-4 months. This guarantees optimal functioning of the machine and a perfect cup of coffee every time. Moreover, it extends the life of your device.

How is the Rapid cappuccino system in Lattissima One maintained?

Disassemble the Rapid Cappuccino System. Carefully wash off all milk residue with hot water (40°C).

Soak all components in hot water (40°C) together with a mild detergent for at least 30 minutes and rinse thoroughly with hot water.

Clean the inside of the milk tank with a mild detergent and rinse with hot water.

Do not use abrasive material that could damage the surface of the equipment.

Dry all parts with a clean towel, cloth or paper towel and reassemble.

The Original line is designed for those who like classic Espresso and Espresso-based coffee (Americanos, Cappuccino and Latte), while the Vertuo line is intended for those who enjoy coffee cups of different lengths. This line offers a large selection of coffee blends (35 blends) of different flavors and aromas within 5 lines: Espresso, Double Espresso, Gran Lungo, Mug i Carafe of the same high quality that the Nespresso Original line is known for.

Which coffees can be made on the Vertuo and Original line?

Vertuo meets the needs of those who enjoy high quality and coffees of different lengths such as: Espresso, Double Espresso, Gran Lungo, Mug ili Carafe. Vertuo offers a large selection of coffees in different cup sizes (35 different coffees).

Original provides high-quality Espresso i Lungo coffees that can be used with Nespresso Aeroccino devices, as well as with built-in milk systems in the apparatus for preparing Cappuccino and Latte beverages.

How is Vertuo different from other coffee like filter coffee or instant?

Vertuo will create a new segment of high-quality coffee. Vertuo system prepares coffee in a revolutionary way with its Centrifusion technology and a series of capsules that together enable different sizes of coffee, from a large cup to an Espresso coffee.

Vertuo is also very easy to use as it automatically recognizes the coffee pod being prepared and then adjusts the extraction parameters to create the perfect coffee with a silky and generous crema – the sign of high quality coffee.

What do barcodes do?

The Vertuo machine uses barcodes on the capsules to identify which coffee customers want to make. The machine reads the code to recognize the capsule and then adjusts the amount of water, extraction speed and other parameters to prepare each mixture and cup size in the most optimal way.

The barcode on the rim of the capsule allows the machine to recognize the capsules, set the parameters needed for a specific coffee: cup length, temperature and amount of water, rotation speed, flow rate and more.

Can I use the Original capsules in the Vertuo system?

Ne. Nespresso Original and Vertuo use different capsules, which interact with the systems in different ways. These are two separate lines that will appeal to different categories of coffee lovers.

How is the cream formed? What is the importance of cream?

Cream is a naturally formed layer of coffee and air. It is created during the extraction process, is a sign of coffee quality and has the task of improving the pleasure of tasting. The crema protects the coffee aromas, locking them in the cup until they are released as you enjoy it. Cream allows consumers to benefit from the full aromatic profile of the coffee. In order to enjoy the coffee with all your senses, we advise you to mix the cream well with the rest of the coffee and thus fully emphasize the aromaticity and flavors. As the Vertuo system works with the help of the new Centrifusion technology, which is based on a large number of revolutions of the capsule per minute, and it is a completely new machine, you will only need to prepare a few coffees in order for the system to reach the maximum number of revolutions and prepare coffee with generous cream.

I prepared coffee on the new Vertuo machine and the cream (foam) is not the same as I saw in the boutique and in the pictures. Is everything OK with the device?

Everything is in the best order. Like any new system, Vertuo requires a short warm-up period to achieve perfect extraction. After just a few prepared coffees, your Vertuo cup will have generous cream, just like the one you had the opportunity to see in the boutique.

Can I use CARAFE capsules with all Vertuo devices?

Yes, except on the Vertuo PLUS device.
